How Realtors Can Use Reels To Reach More Clients

Social Media is your ticket to real estate sales success


It seems a little redundant in 2023, but if you want to grow, scale and make your real estate sales business more profitable, you NEED to be on social media.  Personally, I feel instagram and REELS are the fastest and easiest way for any Realtor to get started growing their social following.

Real estate agents have to keep up with the ever-evolving world of digital marketing, and one of the best tools to hit the scene is social media reels. As more and more people are turning to social media for their real estate needs, real estate agents need to stay ahead of the curve and make sure they are using the latest tools to reach potential clients.

Are you a real estate professional looking to leverage social media Reels to promote your business? If so, you’ve come to the right place.

If you don't know...Social media reels, found on instagram, facebook, tiktok and now youtube are short, 60-second videos that can be used to showcase properties, highlight neighbourhoods, and inform potential buyers about the real estate process. Reels can also be used to introduce yourself, your team, and your services, as well as post helpful tips and tricks about the buying and selling process. Reels are a great way to engage potential buyers and sellers and stand out from the competition.

In addition to creating content for reels, real estate agents should also be sure to optimize their profiles for the platforms they use. This includes filling out the bio section of your profile and adding keywords that will help you show up in relevant searches. You should also be sure to use relevant hashtags to help potential buyers and sellers find your content. For example, try #sellers #realestate #{city}realtors #{city}realestate #{city}homesforsale, etc., etc., we have more training to help you with the key words, but those are some quick and easy examples.

Finally, real estate agents should use reels to create relationships with their followers. By responding to comments and engaging with your followers, you can create a connection and show them that you’re a real person behind the screen. This can be an invaluable asset when it comes to winning the trust of potential clients.  Try being proactive when it comes to social media, too often realtors get overwhelmed with learning new tools and implementing new lead generation techniques, and the worst thing you can do is not be proactive in your contribution to your local social media community.  

Social media reels are a powerful tool for real estate agents to reach more potential clients. By taking the time to create engaging content and build relationships with their followers, real estate agents can use reels to stand out from the competition and reach more buyers and sellers.  Once you understand the power of online contribution and building relationships, you will quickly discard your cold calling, door knocking, postcards, and much much more!  Enjoy, and more importantly, ACT!  Go and do it, right now.
