A very large percentage, 97%+, of people’s success is determined by their own internal dialogue. The acronym F.E.A.R. stands for False Evidence/Expectations/Excuses Appearing Real. The vast majority of excuses that we internally make up are generally self made up, or at the very least, have no impact on the end result. The specific action steps needed to get to where you want to go, can, and usually, are stopped or diverted due to those false excuses. Let me tell you something about real estate investing. It is never the market, the interest rates, the amount of money you have or don’t have, the education you have or don’t have, where you live, where you grew up, what your parents did to you, what your friends think about you, what mistakes you’ve made in the past, what hurdles you have to overcome, etc., etc. I think you get the idea. Get out of your own way, nothing is stopping you but what is on the inside.
